The Buddhify team wanted to create a fully new Alexa Skill for their existing iOS & Android Meditation application.

This Skill gives meditation information to the users, classifies meditations by type, gives a list of recommended meditation titles depending on the time of the day and personal preferences, it also reproduces an audio file of a guided meditation. The Skill support voice commands for playback control and for the list control.

According to the company’s requirements, we designed the conversations flows and configured the Amazon Developer Console. We proposed a series of intents, utterances, and entities for the User’s Voice Experience. We setup a VM to host the fulfillment application and the database. A companion website was also developed to manage the Skill’s data. The Skill was successfully certified by Amazon and is currently available in the US & UK.
